I LOVE,LOVE, LOVE this sun-soaked engagement session for Fall lovebirds, Matt and Danielle . Can you believe it’s November? I had such a lovely afternoon chatting it up with Danielle and Matt and FINALLY meeting them. We’ve been talking forever, I feel like I already know them :) I can’t wait to photograph their August wedding next year. I’m one lucky lady–happy wedding planning friends!

I love this pose….definitely not the traditional but makes me remember that marriage is serious business. Only for the strong, only together :)

Close to a year ago I donated a session and print package to Blanchett High School for my Cousin, Sy who will be a conquering graduate this coming Summer :) Lisa contacted me about doing a family shoot at the Arboreteum and we completely scored with the fabulous weather and unseasonably warm temperatures. It was so nice to meet the Marinkovich family and work with the boys: Jake & Alex. Sometimes boys are a challenge but these two were up for whatever I threw at them. They were great sports! Enjoy your lovely Fall photos Marinkovich family- it was so nice to meet you and spend the afternoon together :)

You may remember Brooklyn from the maternity session I did for her parents and her NICU/newborn session. She is now 6 months and growing big and strong :) She’s a doll face- I love all her little smiles and coos. This was a short and sweet little session I did for her to remember her half birthday. Growing up fast baby girl!

I love this time of year! All of the sweet little Fall babies who’s newborn shoots I did last year are turning ONE! Lots of cake smashes and Fall sessions in my future. Can’t wait!

To kick it off in style Miss Adelyn Mae and I had a lovely time in Snoqualmie a couple weeks ago. She is quite a natural- that pretty Vann smile and lots of laughs. Loved the invite her mama made with her pics! The vintage high-chair and pom-poms were perfection!! Enjoy!

Celebrating ONE year young — !!

I don’t even know where to start when it comes to this engagement session for Kyle & Lindsey. I adore these two and LOVE this session. It took every last bit of willpower to not post every last pic. This session was all about them. I can’t wait to shoot their BIG DAY! love you two! xo :) -S

I had such a lovely time doing a family session for the Knowles Family last weekend. They wanted to do a shoot at their home and they conveniently live on Lake Washington so it was a perfect sunny-summer session on the end of their dock. We did a couple fun ones in the park next door but my favorite sun-soaked shots are at their home. Thank you guys for being so welcoming and friendly! Loved my parting glass of pink lemonade :) It was a great afternoon!

I am IN LOVE with this session.

Partially because I’m in love with this little “gem cake”. partially because I love this little family. mostly because I adore my good friend, L. Gemma is Lacie and Jeremy’s first born and she is just perfection. She is officially the first newborn I have not had to photoshop. not.one.bit. Amazing!

Those cheeks just melt my heart–sorry in advance Gem, I plan on squeezing those cheeks for life ;)

I am terribly in love with the finished gallery for Anna and Brian’s wedding. It was a serious undertaking with over 800 images but SO WORTH the time and effort.

Brandon and I had such an amazing time capturing their Big Day and getting to know their families. The weather held up for us and was stunning (thank you Washington!) and the ceremony was flawless. I feel like I should say that, Yes…I am aware that there are a large number of black and white images in the post below. I can’t help myself. Anna was such a classically beautiful bride. I really think the black and white images show the raw joy of Brian and her expressions. I know she thinks Koston (little man with the great smiles) stole the show but I think the looks on both of their faces did. You didn’t need to be around them long to see it- utter joy, love and companionship.

I had to include a shot of Anna’s Grandpa shaking down the dance floor- that guy can move!

Warm congratulations you newlywed lovebirds. It was a really beautiful day.
